Originally built in 1926, as a Clubhouse for the then-private Wellshire Country Club, the Wellshire Golf Course has always been one of metropolitan Denver's most popular golf locations. The course, designed by well-known golf course architect, Donald Ross, honored in the Golf Hall of Fame, has been selected by Golf Magazine as one of the outstanding public golf courses in the United States.

Since it is owned by the City of Denver, the green fees to play the course are very reasonably priced. The course is available from a complete all-day buyout to smaller tournaments. Wellshire's staff will facilitate your whole event ranging from reserving the course, staging carts, prizes, food and beverages before, during, and after the events, tabulation and presentation of scores, sponsorship signage, etc.

Centrally located in Denver at South Colorado Blvd and Hampden, with seven unique banquet rooms, including the new magnificent Cambridge Room and the glass-enclosed Mountain View Pavilion overlooking the stately Wellshire Golf Course 18th hole, with its spectacular views of the Rocky Mountain Range and Downtown Denver, the Wellshire is perfect for any golf related event. The Golfer's Pub and Patio are very popular locations to end a golfing day. In addition, we have a number of golf events that choose to end the golf day in the beautiful Onyx lounge, perhaps inviting spouses and friends to join them after a day of golf for cocktails and heavy-passed hors d'oeuvres.

Our full-time, onsite Event Planners have executed many golf events with huge success. While the golf is important, the party before, during, and after the golf tournament is what truly makes a golf event memorable.
