Whether you chose to have the ceremony off site or at Wellshire, Wellshire's staff would be very excited and honored to host the Wedding Reception. The Wellshire has a number of different venue options for the reception celebration. (We also offer full Kosher options.)
While the bridal party might be having their wedding photos taken, many of Wellshire's patrons choose to start the party with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres for their guests in the magnificent Onyx Lounge. Its barrel vaulted high-beamed ceiling, original belt driven elephant-ear fan, three moveable ornate social tables, beautiful gas fireplace and magnificent views, makes this is not only a very special room, but a memorable place to both start and/or end the wedding festivities.
From the Onyx Lounge, you have the option to move to a number of different rooms, depending on your party's needs and size. For smaller receptions, for up to 100 seated guests. Wellshire has the stately Windsor Room, with its paneled walls, beamed ceilings, beautiful stained glass windows and views of the golf course and mountains, through the 20-foot high windows.
For somewhat larger receptions, the upstairs Tudor Room, with its beamed ceiling covered by a dark cork, views of the golf course and private bar, creates a sense of stately hospitality and intimacy not often found in a room that can accommodate up to 130 seated guests.
Our glass walled, Mountain View Pavilion is located between the Clubhouse and the 18th green, offers spectacular views of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, Downtown Denver and the stately Wellshire Golf Course. The Mountain View Pavilion has comfortably accommodates up to 320 seated guests and has an adjoining private patio overlooking the 18th fairway and green.
Finally, the New Cambridge Room is a very popular option with spectacular views of the golf course, mountains and downtown Denver with floor to ceiling windows that allow guests to enjoy the surrounding mature trees and gardens. The Cambridge Room comfortably accommodates up to 340 seated guests and adjoins both the Onyx lounge through double French doors as well as the Mt Evans garden.
